Possible Future Of The HDTV Description

Future tense may go something like this. DTVs ancestor HDTV was very popular while DTV sat mostly in its obscurity causing confusion and dismay. A realization manifested that DTV was so closely related to HDTV that they were the same. On that day the people decided that HDTV had too many letters in its name. HDTV did not leave, it just changed its name to DTV. Will the term HDTV slip into obscurity ? Hmm.
